Basic classification of container ships
1. General Purpose Container, abbreviated as GP

2. Open Top Container, abbreviated as OT

This is a container without a rigid roof, but with a roof made of canvas, plastic sheeting

This kind of container is suitable for loading ultra-high large goods and heavy goods,
such as steel, large materials, equipment, etc., especially fragile heavy goods such as glass plates.

3. Flat Rack Container, abbreviated FR

This kind of container has no roof and side walls, and even the end walls are removed,
but only the bottom plate and four corner posts.
This kind of container can be loaded and unloaded from the front, back, left, right and above,
and is suitable for loading long and heavy cargo, such as heavy machinery, steel, steel pipes, wood, steel ingots, etc.
Bench-type containers are not watertight, and goods that are afraid of getting wet cannot be shipped,
or they must be covered with canvas and reinforced as required.
The floor length and width of this kind of container are the same as those of ordinary standard containers,
but the floor height is 60 centimeters, so it can carry a larger weight.
4. Insulated Container (Insulated Container), abbreviation IC
Insulated containers (Keep Constant Temperature Container) are designed for transporting goods that require refrigeration or insulation.
(1) Insulated Produce Container
Insulated containers are containers with a fully insulated structure designed to carry fruits,
vegetables and other goods to prevent excessive temperature rise and maintain the freshness of the goods.
Usually used as ice as refrigerant, the holding time is about 72 hours.
(2) Ventilated Container (VC)

It is used to transport fruits, vegetables and other goods that do not need to be refrigerated but have breathing functions.
Containers with ventilation holes on the end walls and side walls can also be used as grocery containers if the ventilation holes are closed.
5. Tank Container (Tank Container), abbreviation TK

It is a container specially designed to transport liquid goods such as alcohol, oil (such as animal and vegetable oil),
liquid food, and chemicals. It can also carry other liquid dangerous goods.
